Alongside the numerous letters and documents in the collection from John Estill's solicitor's office, there are a group from the 1930s, generally related to the 21st birthday celebrations for the new Malton Grammar School on Middlecave Road. They all seem to be written by or related to G F Newey, who was a solicitor on Maltongate, I am guessing at the John Estill office. There is an invitation for planning an Elizabethan Fair, a 21st Birthday week programme, and a 21st birthday notice regarding sale of left-over items. Also two school postcards - the Science Laboratory and The old School Hall - which had been sent to G F A Newey. I have placed these on the postcards page.
