The School is fortunate to have some superbly carved commemorative plaques in memory of former headmasters. They are carved by Robert Thompson's company in nearby Kilburn, with all of them featuring the trademark carved mouse somewhere within their frame.

In addition Mr Taylor had a number of coats of arms style shields painted at the start of the new Malton School, one of which was to become the new school badge.
