Since the old Maltonians website was started in 1999, a number of people have been in touch, some asking if they could visit their old school. I was able to meet most of these people, and most were kind enough to let me take a photograph to mark the occasion. Some of these are offered below. One or two are not strictly visitors - I actually visited Rosie Thacker at her home in Derbyshire, and Kitty Thackray sent in the photo of herself - this seemed the best place to put it, a virtual visitor if you like.

Chris paid us a visit in July 2002. He had just completed his degree course at Girton College, Cambridge, and gained a First Class Honours Degree in Maths and Computing. He now hopes to do some research in Mathematics..

Emma Cox left in 1994, but popped in on results day August 2003 to see the old place and a few old faces. One of the old faces is with her in the picture - Head of Sixth Form Dave Ewing. Emma was still studying, in between earning money to pay for it, down in London. Hoping eventually to go into dentistry..

2003Kerry Rolls

Kerry Martin, nee Rolls, called in whilst over here from Melbourne, Australia in May 2003 - sadly she was visiting shortly after attending the funeral of her mother, Mary Rolls. She did say that she had managed to see her mother before she died. Kerry attended Malton School Sixth Form in 1961-3. She had a photo taken with two of her old schoolfriends, Jenny Capstick and Romey Willis.

Nancy Lusby visited the school with her niece in October 2018. Nancy was at the school as an evacuee from Hull during the second world war.
