TO OUR AUDIENCE

We thank you all for coming to see our play; and we hope you will enjoy it. We claim - and we trust you will remember this - that the production you will see tonight is unique in at least one respect. Never, we are certain, has "The Admirable Crichton" been produced on so small a stage.

This seems the perfect occasion to say publicly, what we have wanted to say for several years. that our productions owe a very great deal to Mr. Dowding, who, with unfailing cheerfulness and staggering practical ability, builds our stage, constructs our 'flats: and manages our lighting. He is indeed our "admirable
Crichton."

The programme on the left is taken from a printed programme, which has been thoughtfully saved in an envelope labelled "Playbill", glued in to a large black album with the inscription "M. G. S. Dramatic Society". The photos below are from the same album, all mounted with four corner mounts on black pages, all printed by Massers of Malton, and all 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.
