The Maltonian Website - for Malton School

The Maltonian Web Gallery - 2022 Reunion

Reunions have probably been taking place since the first students left school. They usually require one person who is prepared to do some letter writing and phone calling - or more likely email, WhatsApp and Facebook these days - and then others respond.

A group form 1968 meets regularly via Zoom, and they had a "live" reunion back in 2022. Phil Gaskell sent me some photos in April 2024, and told me a little about the group: there is a group of about 11 of us who stay in touch, mainly via Zoom, having about 4 meetings per year. We met up in person in July 2022 for a walk around the grounds of the old MGS building, a picnic lunch and a walk around the park of a local stately home - I’d need to check which one - followed by tea at Andrew and Marion Stainsby’s home and then dinner at the Lodge in Malton.
