The Maltonian Website - for Malton School

The Maltonian Web Gallery - 1991 Reunion

Reunions have probably been taking place since the first students left school. They usually require one person who is prepared to do some letter writing and phone calling - or more likely email, WhatsApp and Facebook these days - and then others respond.

Photos on this page are from a reunion in venues around Malton. The photos were posted by Sue Neal (Sue Brown) on Malton and Norton Memories in May 2025. I am unsure whether ladies names (from comments on the Facebook page I found these on) are school names or married versions.

Sue writes: Found these while sorting ready to move. 20 year class reunion for class 4c Malton County Modern School, (as it was then) taken in 1991. Not good quality pics I’m afraid, think we were all a bit tiddly by then, lol. It was a great night, not everyone attended though. I’m the nutter flashing the legs off (Sue Brown) as was then. I know them all of course but do you recognise yourself? We met at the Globe and went round town ending at the Mount. As soon as we walked in there the guys were asked to remove their leather jackets as they weren’t acceptable in the Mount. Lol.xx
