The Maltonian Web Gallery - Children In Need 2003

Children in Need in November was always marked by a non-uniform day and various activities around school. In 2003 I promised that if over £1000 was rasied I would shave my beard off, something I hadn't done since being a teenager. David Spencer also volunteered to shave his hair. The sixth form team of Phillipppa Chapman, Mark Wylie, David Spencer and Lucy Aylmer were very efficient and managed to raise over £1500. The beard came off. A number of staff donned student uniform for the day, and a range of silly outifits.
